Our Story
Community Change with Purpose (CCWP) was founded by Byron & Jessica Clemons in 2022. Byron & Jessica both, were raised in rural areas of Berkeley County, South Carolina (Jamestown & Cross). They know firsthand the lack of opportunity, knowledge, and information in these rural areas. They realized the problem and are stepping in, to remove these barriers for the rural area students. They are determined to give the children the required information & opportunity, which will create solutions in these rural areas.
This is why the Community Change with Purpose Non-Profit Organization was born.

Our Success

Annual Backpack, School Supply, Scholarship Giveaway, Field Studies, and Community Outreach
In August 2022, CCWP helped supported a family who needed help with school clothes for 2 young boys. We provide a weeks’ worth of clothes, sneakers, & winter jackets.

In August 2022, CCWP took 25 kids on a tour to Boeing, to help educate them on opportunities in the LowCountry.
​
In November 2022, CCWP Donated 20 Thanksgiving Dinner Boxes to Children that needed meals over the holidays.
In December 2022, CCWP blessed a family of 5 for Christmas.

With CCWP bold approach & latest initiatives to remove barriers for the rural students, the organization is exposing them to career opportunities at local 500 companies. We have taken over 200 kids on field trips to multiple companies
